You might find this hard to understand, but you & the other democratic socialists, while safe in your districts, do damage to D’s who have to win swing districts & purple states. Beyond policies, you do so being part of a culture that is repugnant to sensible D’s & swing voters.

My vote is completely meaningless at all levels where I live. It's been a foregone conclusion for a long time.
Your colleagues decided against protecting voting rights and making voting locations safe to vote in a pandemic. My health is more important than a symbolic vote.
