It’s an idiotic question. Does one have to go to every starving family to understand hunger? Every shooting to understand gun violence? Every polling location to under voting access? It’s a dumb question with no meaning.

I mean... kind of. Yeah. Not every one, but you definitely have to go to the places that are being most impacted by hunger, gun violence and voter suppression to get a real sense of the issue first hand. I'm a big believer in traveling to learn.
