1.@rachelmbray This is just after the period of the Nydham bog deposits, where they ritually chopped up enemies weapons & threw 'em inna bog
2.@rachelmbray chopped up bits may have been symbolic of victory. pretty grim. but combined with the lithe design, I find it haunting.
