@nick_r_cameron does rustfmt have the proposed RFC style built in? I could update our playground to offer both via config.

there is a config file in the distro that needs to be in the project root - https://github.com/rust-lang-nursery/rustfmt/blob/master/rfc-rustfmt.toml … - you must remove the rfc- prefix

That sounds like you are suggesting switching formatting completely. Ideally, I'd like to see `cargo fmt --rfc` as an option.

to make this work today, I think you put rfc-rustfmt.toml in the playground Cargo project (i.e., next to Cargo.toml). Then to format with

'proposed style' you rename it to rustfmt.toml, and to format with 'current style' you rename it back to rfc-rustfmt.toml

it's used to point to a directory to look for rustfmt.toml (e.g., you have a 'user' style toml file in it's own directory).

`--config-path rfc` works cause OH GOD MY EYES WHY ARE WE DOING THIS TO WHERE CLAUSES THEY USED TO BE SO BEAUTIFUL
