@nick_r_cameron does rustfmt have the proposed RFC style built in? I could update our playground to offer both via config.

there is a config file in the distro that needs to be in the project root - https://github.com/rust-lang-nursery/rustfmt/blob/master/rfc-rustfmt.toml … - you must remove the rfc- prefix

you'd have to update the toml file with every rustfmt release. It would be awesome to make this work!

That sounds like you are suggesting switching formatting completely. Ideally, I'd like to see `cargo fmt --rfc` as an option.

The UI could offer the choice of "current" and "proposed", allowing people to see what the future might look like, but not forcing it yet
