I don't understand how someone who doesn't have sexual partners might think that is anyone else's fault. Can someone explain incel to me?

Short form - some men really really hate women. Long form requires a patio.

thb if you think of sex as a commodity (which it _obviously_ isn't), the logic isn't super complicated. Just think about the reasons why someone might not have a job that are someone else's fault (greedy corporations, poor market regulation, discrimination) and apply to partners.

Obviously that is a completely fucked up and broken way of looking at things, but if that's someone's starting point, it's not hard to end up at the incel mindset. It's a pretty predictable conclusion to a certain kind of entitlement.

Do you feel like it's sex that is the commodity or just, like, women's attention and affection and desire?

I feel like the incel texts I've read generally commoditize sex, which leads to the entitlement of women's attention/affection/desire as a necessary prerequisite.
