What we need is legislation and rigorous oversight. Petitioning those complicit in mass incarceration will only get you so far.

You're suggesting the largest prison system in the history of the world needs more resources, this is a false narrative thay only leads to more and more prisons. Our goal is abolition, on the way we seek to support prisoners when they raise human rights issues such as this.
