Word. Never forget that. Drown while shackled in a damn prison van. And the escort pigs saving themselves. Because these women were mentally ill prisoners with no one to raise hell for them, this was swept away to be forgotten #burntheprisons

I promise some of us did. I cried my eyes out too because it reminded me of everything I lost in there and the girls I left inside. I hated myself and felt so weak for doing what everyone else does when they leave and just moved on alone. Reading that horror turned me around
