The real distruction of the BPM was the manipulation toward civil rights when our fight was and is one of human rights. Now add in the formations of 501 c (3) = self check
The BPM and the CRM was moving at the same time. In truth neither movement was liked by the establishment at that time. They knew changes had to be made. The CRM was the least threatening of the two. King noted later we are beyond civil rights era we are at the human rights era
