A question from someone who have never been to prison: do you feel that there are some individual staff members who recognize this? Or that actually believe in rehabilitative goals and try to make them happen?
Of course there are a few pigs that recognize it, but they also know or learn that its not any prison system priority. All programs are shams in prisons, only window dressings used to conceal the backroom operations (dehumanizing policies/practices) when necessary

I figured as much. A lot of people on the outside tend to think that if you just put good people to work in prisons things would get better. It always seemed like total horseshit to me because broken systems break people. Nice to have some confirmation of that.
