I would add that please stop asking for more time the second you're appointed. Don't automatically surrender the speedy trial.
COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEYS:: Attorneys stop trying to represent poor newly appointed clients with only days to the trial. Your only setting us (prisoners) up to lose or scaring the shit out of us to plea by your sloppy appearance at the last minute
