I do know that there was zero chance this moved forward w/o
@GLFOP on board, and I would like to think they were persuaded by the history in Texas, Georgia, etc. Remember, Jared Kushner - who has done most of the work - is doing this b/c his Dad was in federal prison
And you can expect this to be another nightmare bill. It's just infuriating race is always at play in determining changes. The Black and Brown communities will feel this with a sting later.

Obviously, I am on the other side on this one, but I understand opposition. I really don't think this will - in any way - be a nightmare...certainly not worse than the status quo for black and brown people. That said, I could be wrong, I do the best I can to study carefully
