Voters are sometimes told they do not meet the ID requirements when they arrive at the polls. You need documentation with a combination of your name and a photo, address, or signature, like a state- or federal-issued identification card or a bill to your home address.
You can also sign an affidavit and receive a ballot. If you are still told you may not vote, please request a provisional ballot. These ballots are only counted in a recount, so you should first and foremost call our hotline to try and receive a normal ballot.
