For some reason TheFatRat's Unity missing on my daily music playlist.
It won't work. YT has enough hours logged on their site that if no one posted anything or a movement happened in one country, the amount of people who are out of the loop would still make the company millions. In essence, they have no motivation to change.

Oh, great. So, what we need is a smaller public video posting website, preferably founded by independent parties, in an effort to replace YouTube. It wouldn't be perfect, let alone turn a salary for a while, but it'd be a step to forcing change.

Precisely. I'm currently laying down some of those ideas, including talking to an intellectual property consultant come june to ask about the legal validity of a draft copyright systen.
