Classes of Civil Disobedience!
The active, professed refusal of a citizen to obey certain laws, demands, orders or commands of a Gov. 
By some definitions, CD has to be nonviolent to be called 'civil'. Hence, CD is equated with peaceful protests or nonviol resistance.
