    Can we please get comment from , , and on their position regarding Expropriation Without Compensation? Do they support it? If not, why are they silent? If so, what happens to bond repayments once the property is expropriated?

    A shock change to the law could allow the ANC to run all land expropriation decisions through one minister - bypassing the courts.

    So the tax payer puts in 254bn via pensions... Then pays himself back 254bn when its lost. Of course there will be "fees" by the cadres for managing such a financial scheme. Brilliant.

    Wrong question. The pension fund won’t have to “survive a R254bn knock”. It’s guaranteed by government - i.e. covered by me and you. You need to ask: Can the taxpayer survive having to bail out this R254bn waste? And the answer is “of course not”.

    Since Cosatu isn’t imagining the kind of investment in Eskom that will yield a return, and since taxpayers will be forced to “invest”, it’s only fair that they get to choose the kind of investment they’ll make. Mine will be deep spiritual advice and some basil from the garden.
