O i thought u meant BBG style headlines - u meant like Michael Bloomberg yes but at least hes mostly consistent (I dont like him but he is) - its good not to be too inflexible but if u change ur mind 3x on major issues (was GOP chair) in 2 yrs u are crazy or just a total sellout

If one is that indecisive, being independent seems to be the most logical default. Sanders ran not as a Democrat iirc. Declaring a party under those circumstances only serves as signaling ambition.

I agree but he had "moderate" opinions for many years he prob would be independent if not for political reasons but also was over many year time period - just my two cents - i dont like Bloomberg or his politics but i dont see him as flip flopper
