You are right. I should have turned my back on my client. Told her to “shut up” and stay quiet because people like you apparently believe assault victims are to blame. This line of thinking is disgusting and offensive to all survivors. And it makes lawyers not want to help them.

I'm not a lawyer or a woman. I'm a politics guy. I note that Collins and every conservative pro-Kavanaugh pundit led off with Swetnick's charges and used them to ignore other stuff. Probably true that nothing would have mattered, but - seems to me - that made it easier for them.

Then blame the GOP. Collins on Monday asked for an FBI investigation into my client’s claims specifically. That never happened despite us repeatedly demanding it. Why? The fix was in. Then Collins has the audacity to claim the allegations were not credible???
