I am working with the Attorney General of FL and a few of my fellow classmates to formulate a “see something, say something” app. It will be monitored 24/7 by law enforcement.
It might be a small step, but we are moving in the right direction. Apps like this have been successful in other states, as utilizing social media to prevent gun violence/suicide/other threats is incredibly beneficial for this generation.

Wow, I had somehow missed this - is it by any chance already out yet and being advertised in some TV markets? I have seen some sort of ad or psa thing that I don't want to just describe out of the blue to you in case it would trigger - it freaks me the hell out, tbh.

Ask if your state has "text to 911" working. A direct route to local PD without app intervention, or potential programming bugs.
These are teens. An app is how you reach them.
I have children that are or were teens. Texting works just fine. They find it faster than apps. Sure, they use apps when they want more than just text, like voice or video. Do you have children?
