Also, if you see content you don't enjoy, DON'T ENGAGE WITH IT. "Hide" it or whatever the option is on that platform.
My explore feeds are full of content I actually enjoy because I ONLY engage with content I want to see more of.

Let's get real: these are platforms that make people money. They want to sell ads. They want to keep you on here. They don't care if you keep in touch with your friends.
Once I accepted this, it was easier to use the platforms but detach from what I wished they were.

Personally, I love the threads on Twitter and seeing different tweets from people I don't follow.
I also love the Reels on Instagram. I love my friends so much but if I want to keep up with them I can simply check my favorites list.
