Once I consistently find a way to define the calves, the stronk gonna be much more abundant in this space, especially since SF and a few other fight games got my interest. Got some quality of life fine-tuning left to do with the Sada piece.
I took on a busy weekend of shopping and car oil changes to ready up for a 2-day snowstorm. Luckily got those taken care of, and was able to get lighting done for Sada. Haven't messed with the bg since then, big oops there, but goal is much more in sight now.
Upon seeing the game awards Mayro clip a third time, I heard the music where he falls over the pipe at the end has a "BAH." If the movie does go the musical route, I gladly expect scores with more BAH.
I'll say all I want for Christmas. And it's for McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" to be the real holiday hit. More people gotta know about the overabundance of synthesizers in that song, which I find a charm in.
I do be curious to test this chair's function fully, especially turning it into a workout chair of some sort. But whether I stick with this one or the massaging one, both feel like winners for some opportunities. Yeh, dads be chill.
And just messing with the standard chair feels like a new world opened up. As much as I enjoyed my office chair, I think it could have benefitted from being able to reliably lean back to a 135° angle. This new chair does help with that.
I got to refine my living spaces a bit because my dad got his order in for two gaming chairs during Black Friday, and one would be a gift for me. One's a neochair Eternals brand with a lumbar cushion and footrest, the other is a similar build, but has massage functions.
Weekend was productive, got lighting situated, now gotta get into shading, muscle defining, and other aspects of the "make it look good" phase for a bit. Especially the bg, I like the color, but didn't decide if the ground is a tile floor or some grass. Last second biz.
Just realized 2023 will be year of bnuy. I had a few plans especially around Easter, but now I can consider some extras for that whole year, yeee.
Now I can get all the colors in and see if I can settle on a background by tonight, then I'll have myself feeling pretty good for the weekend.
Every few months, I learn that hard way that I may rush something in a rough in a day, but future me has to make sense of it over the course of 2 or 3 days. Speed doesn't always mean efficiency. But I fixed all the perspective business and got all the lines in place.
And handle a few irl matters. On that note, resistance bands really do make a difference in a routine. Add one to even an 8-minute Pilates session, burn picks up in less than half that time lol
I had to fix a major perspective issue over a day on this piece, and only now starting to mess with colors. I knew it'd be after November it would be closer to being done but I ended up getting too lax along with that perspective deal.

Ah yeah, got to hear 3 lines of dialogue of Charlie Day Luigi and racer outfit Peach is cool. Mayro sounds a little...better? He said the wahoo, and I can't be too against that.

Enjoyed two days of turkey with fam and got to pick up mad sales involving resistance bands. Between a bunch of learning, recent purchases and what I've enjoyed drawing, I think my page is making a path towards becoming the Onegai Muscle anime. I can't be against it lol.
Speaking of legs, took too much time to make this Sada piece into a leaning pose, I have much more to learn about those poses. But got it all roughed out, looking to line and color it over Thanksgiving and the weekend.
Especially since there's stuff I learned to strengthen the tibialis anterior, that muscle that runs in front of your calves and is one of the causes of shin splints if you put too much untrained stress on it. Getting to cover all the bases.
Got a more full routine set up with all the workout stuff I got, and somehow, it turned leg day into my more productive/most looked forward day of the routine? I got a lot of variety that brings a challenge to all sorts of stuff at and below the glutes.
I don't think I'll ever tire of times where rather than being referred to as an artist, I'm a drawer. It still fits, I do have a collection of stuff I forget is there, see it, then think "hey, here's an amusing way for me to combine a theme, I'll share it, let's go"
Strength not only in mind, but continued in body as well. Sada idea going smooth, and also got my small barbell set order in to help out more with some shoulder/tricep business. Keeping on the gains~
Taking two days to figure out other socials turned out to be pretty wise. Got the links set up on my profile for those intrgued. Art train will always keep going on!

I've started considering getting into a big Pog Mon set with this Sada I'm working on, because I remembered I also wanted to draw a Gardenia and do another Nessa draw. Maybe more, but would make a good start.
Getting more things planned, and remembered Violet and Scarlet come out this week. Dunno why I kept thinking it was the next. Welp, time for brain to go unga bunga ahead of schedule.
I meant to have that done yesterday, but had a doozy expanding my art onto a few other sites, and remembering how link coding works for Tumblr. But very happy to have been able to finish that up today~
It would've been the dream though, have a comfy chair to draw, then just use that same chair to get a routine in while you take a break and watch some videos. Somewhat sure I'll come across that dream chair in my lifetime.
I started loving this office chair more once I played around with the back side, and I can set it to do makeshift preacher curls. But can't use it like a proper incline bench because the armrests are welded on. Knew there had to be a tradeoff to not make it truly multipurpose.
People say that the new Sonic game is pretty okay, not overly outstanding which makes me a sad. I was really hoping I'd see the series of article titles with "Sonic Fun-tiers"
Back in the stride, cleaned up a few stray lines I overlooked and colors are all in place. Feeling pretty set for this week with shade and some fire lighting to figure out now.
You know a flavor I underestimated while in the midst of family ventures? Matcha. Didn't think a potent herbal flavor for tea would fare even better mixed up with fruits and a few other sweets. But it do.
I missed having more than an hour a day to be able to focus on art things, the creative flow is a good feel. And I finalized how I wanted to do an outfit on this piece, should be able to start colors by tonight.
Nice time taking a break for the irl, but now I got the creative brain wanting to get active so I'm looking to push that again. Also got some ankle weights so I'm extra ready for the leg gainz this winter.
Aside from the hectic pizza order a few days back, chill time with the bro this week was a great time, got to hang with lot of fam a good amount and try out more fun cuisines. Gotta learn to make my own skillets to get more rounded meals for myself.

Also took more time to do more workout research. Got new stuff to add to biceps and thighs to really challenge myself, should make for some productive weeks. And came across a good fire ref, getting more excited once I get to coloring this piece pretty soon.
I don't mind handling food, but not when it turns into a Professor Layton scenario, food is to be eaten, not be homework :[ But it def got better after getting the food, more catching up as he takes a day to catch up with local friends before flying back out this weekend.
Got a little break in brother visit. Eating with the family is fun, but when you're the guy to set an order for a big pizza order, but some people don't like mushrooms, one would like one in a pan, one prefers this kind but with alfredo, not marinara. I'm like uhhh
