It’s absolutely wrong what they did to one of the greatest players of the game. What do they even achieve by continuing his punishment? It’s been 30 years

I'm not one to take on causes lightly but I've been screaming about this for 20 years. He was the greatest competitor I've ever seen. He should have been a minor leaguer but through sheer force of will was easily one of the five best players baseball has ever seen. LET HIM IN.

No greater sin in sports. He MUST be made an example of. How else are you going to protect the integrity of the game? To keep people in baseball now from doing it? The guy bet on AND AGAINST his own team WHILE HE MANAGED A TEAM! No exceptions. EVER

I think the 2 can be done, so long as the rules allowed for him to be eligible to be in the hall of fame BASED on his playing merit & not his career after. Say, he can never wear uniform, own, or coach. Present at games for getting an award yes, but otherwise no. Just a thought.

Greatest player I ever had the privilege to watch play. Absolutely should be in the HOF.
