Poso I will school you on this topic but I really don't want to. That is not correct. With her father sitting on the throne as the King of Westeros and her being born on her homeland not far from Kings Landing she is considered of Westeros. She is not from Essos.

Under your theory then half the Targaryn Kings of Westeros were not of Westeros just because they were born on their ancestral home of Dragonstone. If you go by that you might as well say the Greyjoy's of Pyke are not native either and they are.

I've never seen Game of Thrones...Should one even bother with it, or will it just disappoint you in the end, like Lindsey Graham promising to hold people accountable?

Nope. Just go read somebody else's time line till this lot get it out of their system. Be glad you weren't caught up in the wailing and gnashing of teeth for the last season. I took up gardening till it was over on Twitter. They have flashbacks occasionally, like now. It'll pass.

dany is the only surviving child of king aerys. the crown passes onto rhaegar who died, his kids all died and so viserys was next in line (he was also crowned) he died without any heirs. dany is all that is left. born at dragonstone just a short distance from kings landing.
