Most westerners overlook how important "stature" is to China, in a slightly different context than we view stature.

basically this. the west seems to think that #China's abuse of the ethnic minorities and suppression of democracy, freedom and human rights won't get to them. i think they're horribly wrong. it's just a matter of time.pic.twitter.com/yIeKnHDaDi

CCP only makes junk medical products. As mentioned CCP controlled medical supplies mostly are ingredients not final products. Production of those ingredients were helped by US companies in last 20 year that sent engineers to China developing/monitoring production specifications.

True. In Spain, the tests send by China had a detection rate of just 30%. This contributed significantly to the spread of the virus, because of all the patients that were cleared following a negative test, while they were virus carriers!https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/27/coronavirus-test-kits-withdrawn-spain-poor-accuracy-rate …

And yet they pilfered medical supplies from Australia for their own use.

Yup, though it may have been private citizens who did some of that. Then the supplies that China sent Europe and even here were defective and useless.
