Why are the ships and people on these aircraft carriers not protected against a biological attack? If the ships had that defense then they would not be infected.

They are. But this wasn’t a biological attack. This is more like a seasonal flu, breaking out the biological attack gear for a flu like outbreak isn’t very practical. Good question though.

20% and a majority are asymptomatic. That’s crazy considering how densely populated that carrier is. I served on the TR in ‘88 and ‘89. There are 5,000 people onboard and there is no way to stay 6’ away from each other.
