The end of Howard began long before his move to XM. It began when he went into therapy. The kinder and gentler Howie was born. He went on to become everything he used to rail against. A young chippy wife, celebrity "friends", vacation with the beautiful people, etc.

Howard got incredibly wealthy on SiriusXM equity options, no longer had to fight the FCC, and was lauded by
@nytimes for his new softball interview style with top-tier celebrities. His terrestrial radio show was irresistible. He's gone soft. Now he's more like Larry King.

Not entirely true. The first 5 years on satellite were great. It started going down hill when Artie left the show in 2010. In 2012, Stern joined AGT, hired an “efficiency expert” to run his show and suddenly started pretending he was a feminist/ SJW progressive. And that was that
