As a side note, one wonders how many important pieces of our nations history like this are being selectively removed to be replaced by social justice lessons in public education. It seems likely the youth of our nation are never learning about many of our republics true heroes.

My daughter is 21 years old. Her father and I taught her this and MUCH history. Failed public school systems do NOT! In many moons.... Parents, Grandparents wake up and educate your own. ❤️🇺🇸

Thanks for reminding us of one of the most daring missions of WW2 catching Japan totally off guard with the bombing of Tokyo shortly after Pearl Harber. Great psychological victory against Japan that helped turn the tide. Heroic airmen!

One of the greatest military operations. Militarists in Japan weren’t expecting it.

It’s a sad anniversary when no goblets are left upright and not a drop of cognac passes brave lips. Godspeed raiders.

I still have the copy of '30 Seconds over Tokyo' I failed to return to my elementary school library some 30+ years ago. That story moved me as a kid and I have never let it go.
