I’m not suggesting that hospitals are falsifying reports on deaths, but that their guidance is if they reasonably suspect the COD as Covid they can list it even if not a confirmed case. I personally would prefer us to over report now and revise down later. 1/2

People are going nuts about the reporting of deaths with complications or comorbidities, as if this isn't the way deaths have always been reported.

It’s different than dealths are normally reported. Doctors don’t record influenza as the cause of dealth unless tested positive. They are instead categorized as respitory or pneumonia.
