Shutdowns were to relieve hospital and ICU capacity, not eliminate the virus.

And to ramp up testing and get the PPE stablized. We will be going back to work next month, but expect to be required to wear a face covering.

@tedfrank I am going to have a hard time with NY's reporting of how many deaths are occurring seeing as the Gov let it be known that they counted 4000 deaths as Covid with no proof, no diagnosis, no test. -
If somebody has a bullet hole in their head, you don’t need a test to presume they were shot. If someone dies of bilateral pneumonia with fever, oxygen saturation below 60%, and elevated blood levels of ferritin and IP-10, you don’t need a COVID test to presume COVID. /1
