You ever work for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai? Because I did This exchange isn’t going well for you, Brianhttps://twitter.com/briantbeane/status/1249558765004673025 …

Pretender Jack, you do not know the mindset of folks that are doing business in other countries. I suppose trade is a new thing.....

Given that you used to be at the chamber in #Shanghai why are you now saying “most Americans over there are businessmen selling out their country for a better margin”. Were they not “selling out their country” when you were at the chamber or is “selling out” in #China new?

I was but a young man fresh out of college when I started there on the GR / CSR side. There’s also a group of expats there for the purpose of selling US goods into China, albeit a much smaller group

So you’re saying you now regret working at the #US chamber in #Shanghai? Chalking it up to being young and foolish or something? And you now think that the vast majority of #USA business activity in #China is bad?

Is it hard for you to imagine his time there taught him a few things? Why would he regret time spent gaining first hand knowledge to fuel his opinion. Its much better then being handed your opinion by someone else's experience that may or may not be true. Odd thing to criticize.

I wasn’t criticising anything, just asking questions to try to understand his position.

Hopefully all the people in the US will eventually realize that to figure out how to move the production lines in China back to homeland, particularly the critical ones, is far more important than pointing finger at each other...
