People who’ve been following persecution of Christians in China their whole lives and know the facts/horror behind their 1 child policy would not have been shocked by anything you said.

People do not believe anything I tell them about growing up in the USSR either. As if I just imagined from my Dad and Uncle being in Gulag or to no toilet paper and empty shelves lol

We hear the same stories from everyone that has gone there for Boeing. Just don't understand how people blindly accept China as a good country.

Friend of mine worked in china. He was paid to sit in a window and use a computer. Didn't matter what he did on it, as long as he looked busy and could be seen. It was nothing more then perception of people looking at the building. He got paid well to do it.
