        Australia need the US. WE are too reliant on China. They are buying our farms, Dairy farms etc. we have no manufacturing left. Aus and America need to share to stop China’s takeover.

        I agree, like I said in the start of this thread, great long term allies like Australia should be part of a true partnership. Not a BS German led mafia like the EU. A TRUE give and take with like minded allies/friends.

        We all know that Americans can’t spread it properly (there is technique involved). And you also can’t buy decent cheese slices (that you lay on top of vegemite on toast) to enhance its taste. It also helps that our toasters run on 240V (albeit only 10A) so they’re a tad faster.

        Agreed, but it is in no way that easy to untangle ourselves from China. Trump has been pushing back on them and no doubt will ramp that up, but it’s a complicated dance.

        I use to deliver newspaper to the cobbler in my town when I was about 7yrs old. I can’t remember the last time I was able to get my work boots resoled these days you have to throw them away and have to buy a new ones this sucks 😦
