He broke the chain of command. He went through unsecure lines to do so. He affected readiness by broadcasting a weakness to our enemies. They were handling it. It was a HUGE mistake especially for a man at his rank. He put ppl in danger by doing so. He's no hero.

He should face a court martial. He has let the world know that a strategic asset if combat ineffective. If a Sailor would have done this and not a senior officer. They would throw the book at them. He will be allowed to retire. An enlisted member would be punished.

He made sure EVERYONE knew his warship wasn't able to fight. If some foreign intelligence service gathered info that his ship couldn't fight, HE provided the confirmation it COULDN'T.
