I wonder if this is the rule in China. Every Carrefour I’ve ever been in in China labels the country of origin of every single product on the shelf label.

Jack, it's not that easy. The US' entire supply chain model is built around imports. Our exports rely on our import volumes, and we don't have indigenous maritime capacity. China also controls supplies to the US for 11 of 35 critical strategic materials.https://twitter.com/man_integrated/status/1241374453449265152 …

I will pay more for American quality and American safety standards. Drugs and medical supplies first priority. Before the founder of Walmart died, everything in the stores were made in the USA. Now it's a store full of smelly imported clothes and Chinese junk.

I don't think the current House will ever pass a bill that says all prescription drugs must be manufactured in the USA. Hopefully we will regain the House in November.

Most people in the US know virtually nothing abt China. They get ideas abt China from the 'next war, China' neocons. Just like w/ Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc. Label them a murderous regime or a threat to human rights. Then, Americans are ok w/ war. They dont even have to do research.
