Lot of commies think they can exploit this situation to suddenly stop paying any and all obligations. Of course they naturally think paying rent is theft.
That is indeed a mature and top reply
Unfortunately, the owner racks up many expenses going through the eviction process.
Cost of doing business, unfortunately. Hopefully the leases have cost recovery built in. They all do in my state.
I also live in Houston and I would bet my next 2 paychecks they are illegals.
Don't pay the water or electricity bill. See how fast you get payments. "Sorry, had to pay the mortgage. Everyone I guess needs to tighten their belts."
Talk about Agit-prop
Unionizing like this is wrong and I would say probably not legal since each tenant is under a separate contract. I would first write a letter stating that they to not recognize the letter based on my previous statement. Also state that they are willing to meet one on one to work
Out a payment plan, stating explicitly that the payment is still expected in full by xx/xx/xxxx. I would do something like split the rent by 4 months out to 6 months starting at beginning of April. Which would make rent if at $1000,$ 250 additional a month or $166 for 6 month
