Many rural clinics, in anticipation or an influx of Coronavirus visits, cancelled appts of most elective/non life threatening visits on the order of their companies. And Corona isn’t showing up, so most have little to do, as that order hasn’t been lifted.

a family member on the surgery staff at a large level 1 trauma center in st paul, mn all med staff, including surgeon, hours are cut in HALF. all elective surgery cancelled, making room for 'flood' of wuhan patients. the flood, so far, is ZERO

Yes. We can't see anybody due to what's happening. Everything is put on hold or moved at minimum 4 weeks out with no guarantee then. They will not be able to justify all staff for much longer with minimal to no revenue coming in.

Nebraska is rural America, we have like 60 cases and most are in Omaha. I don’t get it.

People not working is what is causing this. If people don't work they have no insurance. We need to get back to work. This is a mess.

We have to get off this "one sized fits all" response very soon. In Texas, counties appear to be stepping up, but the state may have overstepped (not egregiously). I am OK with it for now, but after these couple weeks, they need to figure out targeted response.
