How does this stimulus plan help small businesses make ends meet this year? 1-2 months closed doors will decimate many of them

Well, what I read, this small business loan can be used for payroll, sick leave, mortgage payments, utilities and insurance. And if you don't fire anyone, the loan is forgiven. That's pretty big to me

I own a small business. 13 employees. My understanding is the loan can be for more than those things you mentioned above, but the portion used for those things over a 3 or 4 month period (I think 4) will be forgiven. Very helpful if actually happens. Needs to happen swiftly.

I feel as if this is a plot from Dems to affect the economy negatively and blame the President for it.

Forgivable loans to small businesses only covers overhead. Payroll, rent, utilities etc. Most companies run on small marigins of profit. One month could be total profit in 1 year. 2 months devastation. Owners are Guarantors on bank loans and owners bankrupt. 08 repeat

Yes! I’m one of them. Self employed and two kids home from college and one from high school. Single mom... I just make over the amount to qualify for any help. I work almost every day of my life. Who’s saving me? No one.

There should have been a plan focusing ONLY on small businesses & individuals. By the time anybody actually sees any money, it will barely be enough to get people back up to their knees. Pent up demand is going to mean squat for 90% of businesses
