We know many people who had “the worst flu ever” this winter who tested negative for the flu and were told they just had a bad virus. No doubt that was CV.

I’m about 99.9% sure I, my bf, &my brother-in-law had it just after Christmas. I blew it off as a weird cold because no sinus congestion. It lasted forever. Weeks. I thought whatever it was turned into pneumonia. I finally got rid of it by running a few miles at the end of Feb.

Same! My gf and I live in New Orleans. This is week 3 of this for me. They won’t test me. Apprehensive about running but you’ve given me a little confidence that I should.

Second question. How many people got the virus, were asymptomatic the entire time, and never knew? These two questions make up a LOT of people.

Is it possible to get the virus and never know ?

Symptoms scary right after Christmas. They are going to roll out antibody testing in a few weeks and anyone can get tested. If positive for antibodies we could donate plasma for treatment purposes

Same here. Came on instantly & lasted a long time finally went to minute clinic guy said wasn’t flue. Then it went away.

I know a few people that had all the symptoms back in late Jan/early Feb that now swear this was what it was due to the nature of the symptoms (and it being different than the flu)

I put myself in this group. When they release an antibody test I’ll be wanting it, even if I pay out of pocket.
