Asian countries like South Korea, Japan, and Singapore fought the virus using test & trace Everyone got tested all the time, both virus/temp and if positive, everyone they had contact with was identified Didn’t need mass lockdowns

While South Korea has done the best job by far with the number of tests, they absolutely had a move for self quarantine as well. We have a son stationed there and the streets were literally empty for weeks in/around Daegu (where it began for them) and outside of Seoul.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT A VIRUS. Of course it could be handled better. That's not the point. That's not the intent! Wake up!

In general, Americans don't pay attention to details and aren't honest enough for "test and trace" to work.

We've already conducted ~33% of South Korea's total testing, and we have 27 million test kits in the pipeline. Testing everyone would be ridiculous -- that's a lesson in conditional probability.pic.twitter.com/TmBJX1NlMt
