It's NOT airborne in the classic sense! You can not catch it by simply breathing in a room. It's passed by droplets so you would need to have someone breath or sneeze on you to catch it without contact.

I agree. Aerosolized. Chicken pox is airborne.

Also it lingers in the air for hours and on surfaces for hours. Making it extremely virulent.

Lingers in the air? I doubt that. It will live on surfaces for hours but so does flu, common cold, TB, HIV and MRSA/VRE and other antibiotic-resistant organisms. It's why hospitals, dialysis units, etc clean surfaces with bleach disinfectants.

This isn't airborne. This is droplet.

@GovRonDeSantis Please close West Palm Beach schools next week. I can’t stress enough with Millions voting there is no possible way to clean schools for the next day. We already have people with Corona.

It’s been in US since at least January. My friend’s daughter in college has a roommate from Wuhan. The Roommate came back to school in early January & everyone in dorm caught a “cold”. The Wuhan virus is widespread already in the US but no testing never ID’ed it.
