Don't take extra meds. It's not uncommon for blood pressure to plummet with one single extra dose in a hypertensive crisis. The underlying pathology is inability of the body to regulate blood pressure. It needs to be reduced in a monitored setting. Not good advice.

I don't think he said to take more. Just make sure you have ample supply. I take them and receive 3 months at a time. Picking up my additional 3 months although insurance won't pay for them.

BP meds are prescribed. Can't stock up on them. You might be able to get 3 months worth at a time though.

Actually we just had 6 months of BP meds called into the pharmacy by our doctor yes it can be done

They don’t let you “stock up” on blood pressure meds....but ok

Just ask your doctor to write a new prescription for an extra 90 days. I told mine I was concerned about the fact that almost 100% of our generics come from China or India and the supply lines might suffer. Done.
