You're totally right on this. BUT - you think you're listing a set of historic precedents that rebut the more extreme positions on this topic, whereas to them you're listing a set of historic injustices that have yet to be set right.

Pleas don't call it the Wuhan virus. Although it seems to originate from there, it's inappropriate as it causes people of Oriental features to get icy cold stares and snarkey remarks directed at them..

it's originated there, that's why it's called
#WuhanVirus, same as Japanese encephalitis virus and African swine fever. ppl didn't seem to hv issues with those names before. Chinese got those stares is because of some of their shitty behaviors, not the virus. - 2 more replies
