It is probable he (Woods) would have only got life in prison if it was not LEOs. He would likely have not gotten arrested if he did not assist in the targeting by Spencer of officers in the home (the one who shot them all w rifle)

Not just Alabama. CA when I was growing up had something similar. Didn’t matter who did the deed. If you aided or abetted, just as guilty.
