I have been there. It is nice, I agree. This is not about good people. It is about Turkey just stepping to the side and doing nothing at all. No matter the group, there is likely to be some bad people and if no one looks they will do bad things.

Erdogan’s embarrassment should be our opportunity. Expel Turkey from NATO & its occupying forces from Cyprus. Let Russia & Assad do the rest on their dime. Bring down Erdogan’s Islamist regime & re-establish relations with the new government.

I met two doctors from Turkey who'd come to the U.S. and were serving the mandatory residency of 1 year at a U.S. hospital. They'd had a thriving practice in Turkey. They left because of "too many Syrians" coming in.
