They will teach you the difference between magma and lava in schools but not basic financial literacy If I ever ran I would make financial literacy education part of my platform for all American studentshttps://twitter.com/Cactusrose5/status/1229450065896407046 …

It's a lesson most people, including me, had to learn, though, and it was quite painful. Young people without life experience can get caught because of the convenience and the lack of experience.

It's how they "control the masses." Make American's reliant/dependent. That's why no Econ/FIN in HS. I teach Financial Peace U from Dave Ramsey. It was a blessing to my family and is why we win with money everyday.

Dave Ramsey is the best. If people went by his program they would be financially free.

The failing in any part of a young person's education is the parents fault...including financial education.

The big 4 accounting firms run a financial literacy program targeted to struggling schools. It is robust with publications and many in-person classroom lessons. Taught by CPA volunteers. Not sure lack of access/resources/teaching is the issue here.

It's nearly impossible to make people who are financially literate dependent on the government. Liberals will never allow personal finance to be taught in schools.
