I see you specified personal credit card. Do you have a company credit card for travel?

I’m in my 40’s and have never had a credit card. My credit rating is in “excellent” category because I never missed a payment on student loans or auto loans.

Dang, you have an 800 credit score just with car and house loans?

You don’t need one! My husband and I have been together for 22 years ans never used one! People don’t get it

I've never had a debit card, nor do I intend to. I just pay off my credit cards every month. No problem.

The *only* situation I've found where I couldn't escape using a credit (not debit) card is in renting a car There are supposedly alternatives, but they are all quite onerous and yield a much higher rate

Many choices. Use the Amex Serve card. its like a bank card. But no fees. Use as direct deposit from your employer. Just have to put up a deposit for rentals.
