Because children raised with a masculine role model are much harder to handle and manipulate. Cut out all of the daddies and you've got a society that is easily molded and controlled.

It takes two to tango as they say. So, if you are liable for support, you also get a say in any other decisions. Can't have it both ways.

There should be. It is unfair to ignore the father after all the child is 50% his.

Thank you! My brother would not be alive today (even if he’s a pain in the ass) if my Dad had not stepped in. He offered her everything, marriage, full support, etc. She had my brother and abandoned him at around 5 yrs old. He’s now 30 and my Dad raised him on his own.

Today environment it’s very toxic for a man to say anything.

There are very little protections for a father after a divorce too. Know of a friend who gets screwed regularly on visitation and the courts and law enforcement do nothing.
