True story: I went to Knives Out with 2 of my boys and my mom a couple of weeks ago. She’s not the target demo for Birds of Prey, but when the trailer ended she said “Why would anyone want to see that?” Everyone around us laughed. (Mom was more reserved during the feature.)

I’m thinking it’s weak opening is attributed to the fact that no one cares.
