Why does everyone say that he only bet on his teams to win? Is there evidence other than Pete's word? Pete lied for years before he couldn't hide it anymore? His word means nothing.

This is right. Case was dropped when he signed lifetime ban so we don't really know who he bet on.

No. A sports league sells competitive integrity. Not punishing gambling by its players on the sport they play in carts doubt on that integrity.

OK, I can see that. Or, just build a Pete Rose Museum of Baseball for all the great players who were not recognized in the MLB "official" Hall of Fame. Put it in Cincinatti, for one idea.

Nope. No cheaters in MLB HOF, period. The fact the offense occurred decades ago is irrelevant. Look, I’m a Brewers fan and no HOF for Ryan Braun, ever. They stained the game. We gotta pay for bad choices forever, sometimes.

Pete has all of the skills, talents, and dedication to be in the hall of fame. However, he broke the rules. He chose to break them. It doesn’t detract from his legacy. However, why cheapen the honor. Does everything have to be a participation award?
