My last drink was in 1994. That's saying something for a Retired Marine. Had, and still having a GREAT time.

I drink at New Years, 2 nights in July, a nite in August and a little on Christmas Eve. That's it, that is all I drink every year. In social situations, i will accept a beer (in order to not be rude) but I rarely will drink it all, usually just slowly nurse it throughout the nite

My family and friends would probably never notice if I drank water outta a beer can. I could pee just as much and still tell stupid jokes. I'd stay up with the best of em and be up early cooking bacon. I'm gonna try that.

55 and have never had alcohol because my grandfather and great-uncles were all alcoholics. Occasionally, friends will suggest I take up "a little bit of drinking" just to be social. These threads are a good reminder of why I avoided it.
